Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS), has been named as a supplier on Lot 2 of the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Vehicle Lease, Fleet Management and Flexible Rental Solutions framework. Lot 2 is for the supply of commercial vehicles and related lease management services.

The framework is free to use for public sector organisations and enables them to lease and manage fleets of vehicles, including associated services such as service, maintenance and repair.

Bob Sweetland, Managing Director, SFS: “CCS is the biggest procurement organisation in the UK, and we are thrilled to be a named supplier. We work closely with many local authorities in the UK and we are keen to take any measures that add value, increase efficiency and save time or money.  The CCS offers a free service to public sector organisations and buying through them simplifies the process as they already comply with procurement regulations.”

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2017/18, CCS delivered £354 million in commercial benefits including savings for central government, and £247m for the wider public sector – helping to deliver world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

SFS has been delivering contract hire services to the public and private sector since 1992. With a network of workshops and its own municipal vehicle hire division (CTS Hire), SFS can provide the full range of vehicle and plant solutions from short-term vehicle hire to meeting the most complex fleet requirements.
