SFS Invests For Growth

Following a record year of growth, Specialist Fleet Services (SFS) has moved to a new site in Northampton.  The premises in Ross Road, Northampton have been tailored specifically to meet the needs of the business and enable SFS to have its head office and workshop facilities sited together at one location.

Bob Sweetland, Managing Director of SFS said: “2013 has been an outstanding year for us.  We have retained all of our existing contracts and also gained new customers.  Our new purpose-designed site will make our operations even more efficient and will enable us to improve the quality of service with give to our customers both new and old.”

In 2013, SFS has retained 100 per cent of its existing contracts, many of which have been subject to re-tender.  These include Hyndburn Borough Council, Hambleton and Richmondshire District Councils, Northamptonshire Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.   SFS has also been awarded additional work from Cory Environmental as well as winning a significant number of new tenders.

As part of SFS’ business investment programme, the company has also recruited its first dedicated Bid Manager.  Paul Connor joins SFS from Lefarge where he was previously Business Development Manager.
